We can design it.
We can build it.
We do home repairs.
Thoughtful remodeling, restoration, custom fabrication and repairs for North Texas homes—especially the projects that do not come neatly out of a box.
One crew. One process.
From an idea or a problem to the finished work, TXBLDR stays close to the project instead of handing it off to strangers.
Selected work
Not a catalog of pretty after photos. These projects show the design, problem solving and construction behind the finished result.

Outdoor Kitchen/Covered patio → four-season room
An existing covered patio was framed and enclosed with new doors, windows and clerestory glass while preserving the original roof, masonry and outdoor-kitchen elements.

A building designed around one remarkable door
A custom playhouse grew from the client’s antique arched chestnut door. The structure, arch, porch and architectural details were developed around the door rather than altering it to fit a standard opening.

Designed on paper. Built from scratch.
The original cabinet was removed completely. A new full-height built-in was designed for the space, fabricated horizontally because of its size, then installed and trimmed in place beside a redesigned fireplace wall.

Yes, we occasionally tear holes in perfectly good houses.
An existing bay window was removed, the exterior wall opened and reframed, and a new French-door entry integrated into the original brick, roofline and trim.

Exterior stairway from model to reality
This stair system was modeled in SketchUp, dimensioned for permit submission to the City of Denton, then translated into the finished exterior structure.
Small projects count, too.
Some of the best examples of craftsmanship are the repairs and one-off solutions that most portfolios never show.

How TXBLDR works
Clear thinking before construction, communication during it, and details that hold up after everybody leaves.
Look closely
Measure the space, understand the problem and identify what can stay.
Design the solution
Use sketches, modeling and field experience to work through details before construction.
Build deliberately
Execute the work with a small hands-on crew and adapt intelligently when existing conditions surprise us.
Keep you informed
Progress photos and video updates make the work visible instead of leaving clients wondering what happened all day.
Our specialty is solving the problem.
TXBLDR is built around design-and-build work rather than a narrow menu of products. One project may require structural carpentry, another custom cabinetry, another restoration, and another a repair part fabricated under a shade tree because nobody sells it.
The common thread is practical design, hands-on construction and work intended to look as though it belongs there when we are done.
